OUR OBLIGATIONS
VirtualCare2Go® is required by law to:
- Make sure that the medical information VirtualCare2Go® have about you is kept private, as required by state and federal law;

- Comply with requests not to disclose to a health plan PHI related solely to services provided by VirtualCare2Go if you have paid for services out of pocket in full;

- Utilization Review. We may use medical information to review the services provided and ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care based on their condition.

- Treatment Alternatives. VirtualCare2Go® may use medical information to inform you of potential treatment options that may benefit you.
- Health-Related Benefits and Services. We may inform you about health-related benefits or services offered by VirtualCare2Go® or your health plan.
- Individuals Involved in Your Care or Payment for Your Care. With your consent, we may disclose medical information to friends or family involved in your care.

- Coroners, Medical Examiners, and Funeral Directors. Information may be disclosed to coroners and funeral directors to assist them in their duties.
- National Security and Intelligence Activities. Authorized federal officials may receive information for national security activities.
- Inmates. If you are an inmate, VirtualCare2Go® may disclose information to correctional institutions as necessary.
- Consultation by Patient and Provider with Physician. If you request a consultation with a supervising physician, we may use audiovisual communication to provide this consultation.
OTHER USES OF MEDICAL INFORMATION
VirtualCare2Go® will obtain your permission before using your medical information for reasons beyond those listed here. Examples include the release of psychotherapy notes and using information for marketing purposes.
